In my test account set up for digests, I see that each message has a number
at its head ("Message: 1" and so on). That looks the same as in the digests
from the old server. You should be able to search for that.
However, if that's not sufficient, you might try turning on the MIME digest
format, if it works with your email system. I haven't tried it, but IIRC in
compatible email clients, that creates clickable links in the table of
contents, and those links take you right to the message.
You can make that change (or reverse it, if it doesn't work) from your
individual mail settings webpage. Instructions here :
