Peter, Thanks for the link. I saw that a while back on TV (the 'Renault' channel on FreeSat here in the UK) but it was nice to see it again. Rather well done and considering Renault made it I thought it quite broad in scope and not especially Renault-centric. I have been reconsidering my intention to buy a Tesla Model S since the EU pricing was released a few weeks back. Despite T's stated intention of not making non-US markets pay any more for their cars than US buyers (allowing for export costs and local taxes) it stings to see that we will have to pay a UK£16k premium on US prices. The Zoe may fill the gap, for me at least. Unfortunately, unlike the Fluence there does not appear to be a cheaper battery lease option than £70/month and as I also ride a Vectrix I will not be getting much value for money from that £70. If it were half that monthly cost, for the 3k miles I'd be likely to do per year, it would be a very simple decision. In any event, the Zoe is still not in the UK yet - Summer apparently - but I will pop into my local Renault dealer for a chat as things are beginning to hot up. It does seem rather a shame that the entire US won't even get a look-in due to Renault not having any presence there. Perhaps the ZE range of EVs will force a change there.
