Kind of the way Exxon did in the 1990s, as in "I changed the oil in my ICEV 
this weekend, and I accidentally Exxoned the driveway."

It might be even more effective if it were given a more general meaning - 
"to deliberately sabotage something as a reinforcement of one's own 
prejudices."  That could result in more widespread usage and adoption.  
Wouldn't it be gratifying to see Car and Driver write something like "When 
Consumer Reports tested a BMW last month, they brodered it"?
