I am using a 200A breaker on my 120V EV that will draw around 300A
for minutes when driving at freeway speeds.
The Vectrix motorcycle used a 100A main fuse while it could pull a
peak of 300A and occasionally people were blowing that fuse, so a
recommended upgrade was to use at least 150, preferably 200A fuse.

Hi Ben,

What is your circuit breaker's rated trip current? Also, do you know its delay
curve (how long it takes to trip at for example 2 times rated current? It may
be you were just drawing too much current for too long.
