Why would people needlessly tie up the J1772 plug if they are only using the 5-15 outlet on the EVSE? Does the EVSE only support the use of one or the other at any time, such that if someone came along and plugged in using the J1172 cord the EV on the 5-15 outlet would be interrupted? Or, is this just to make it look like the charging station is in use?
