The 39-year-old How I Met Your Mother star went make-up free as she stepped out alone on Tuesday to get her electric car's battery re-charged - and pick up an energising snack for herself. It looked like she needed a break too as she padded down the sidewalk with no trace of lipstick, rouge or foundation on her face. Alyson must have just washed her hair because it hung wet and limp down the sides of her head. She was dressed casually in faded blue jeans and beige knit cardigan over a plain white T-shirt, and her red flats added a much needed splash of colour. Bedraggled though she was, it didn't dampen her mood however. The red-haired actress was in high spirits and smiling ear to ear as she sipped her refreshingly chill ice-blended coffee and carried a treat in a brown paper bag. It's rare to see the mother-of-two out without at least one of her children along for the ride, but perhaps husband Alexis Denisof had thoughtfully gifted Alyson with a couple hours of peace and quiet. As cute as daughters Keeva, 11 months, and four-year-old Satyana are, Alyson probably got a whole lot more done too. Let's get comfortable: The red-haired star was clad in her favourite jeans and beige cardigan, along with a pretty pair of red shoes So blessed: As nice to running errands by herself is, Alyson's two best companions remain her daughters Keeva, 11 months, and Satyana, four Alyson happens to be one of those mothers who enjoys every minute she can spend with her little girls. The American Pie star can often be seen taking her girls shopping with her or to the park. When she's not working on her sitcom, Alyson devotes her days to caring for Keeva and Satyana. And in this age where nannies are the norm, the actress is incredibly hands on in just about everything she does. 'I feel so blessed,' Alyson told Woman's Day.
