If your charger is only good for 120vac I'm afraid you're out of luck with
the new J1772 EVSE's. They put out ONLY 220vac. In some of the Chargepoint
EVSE's there is a 120vac receptacle, but they are rare to find.

You can upgrade your charger to a 120-220vac charger and then use the J1772
EVSE's, but you will still need an additional piece of equipment - a J1772
Adapter Box. The J1772 Adapter Box generates a signal that completes an
electronic handshake with the J1772 EVSE and tells the EVSE that the car can
be charged.
