To help others keep things in perspective, Cor also pointed out that
every ice on the highway is wasting huge amounts of energy as heat.

With that in mind, since a ~300mi Tesla-S has an 85kWh pack

then using ratios, to recharge it would take ((85/24)*3min=) ~11minutes.
That is hardly enough time for a restroom break, and purchase your
beverage/munchies.
If in the way future the flash EVSE got enough continuous business, the
EVs would have to be queued-up (like a car-wash) so the EVSE would be at
its maximum utilization.

Which bring to mind some other questions/grey-cell-exercises to gain
perspective. To many, ice-racers (formula 1?) are a familiar item. At a
pit stop, don't ice race cars take on a huge amount of energy during the
quick refuel?

-How many gallons of gasoline do those ice race cars take on?

-How many kW is that?

-What would be an equivalent capability/performance ice vehicle to a
Tesla-S?

-What would be that ice vehicle's kW/mi vs Tesla-S kW/mi @65mph ?

-And what is the equivalent amount of gasoline for the energy the
flash-EVSE uses to replenish the (20/24*85kW= ) ~70.8kW  to bring the
Tesla-S pack from 10% to 80%SOC?  

With those answers, my hope is that I could compare apples with apples
for the public to understand.
