Topic: Displaying EVs - July 4th Parade Planning

Saturday, June 22, 2013

(4th Saturday) 10 am to 12 noon.
Meeting Location: Rhythmix Cultural Works, 2513 Blanding Ave, Alameda, CA
Visitors welcome, open to the public.

Last month we had a great turnout for the Open EVSE Build Day, thanks to Chris
Howell.

Now is the time to display our EVs, with the warm outdoor weather. Our upcoming
event is the annual Alameda July 4th Parade, which is the largest and longest
Independence Day parade in the nation. This year we are featuring our wide
selection of EVs, from conversions and bicycles to various production vehicles.
We'd like as many as possible to participate as this parade draws over 20,000
spectators.

Our description for the parade is:

The cool way to drive these days is in clean, quite electric power. Shrink your
carbon footprint by driving an electric scooter, bicycle, car or truck, from
Tesla to conversions. See us at www.ebeaa.org and on the roads.

Come join us for this planning meeting and a chance to discuss other
opportunities to display EVs over these summer month.

EVs in parking lot after meeting.
