Well, here you go folks. Even a vehicle licensed under the motorcycle license laws has a $100 tax because it is an EV! At the rate I'm driving this year I will put only about 3000 miles on it this year. That means I am paying three times as much in road tax as I am for the electricity to charge! This is for a 830lb vehicle. That also means I am paying twice as much in road tax for my Gizmo than I am for my Toyota Corolla! Talk about a disincentive for EVs in a state with an electric highway.
