Hi Lee and All,

I don't think Myer's got the rights to the
name or patents for the rear drive, just the pile of parts left over from the
bankruptcy.

I was hoping better but they seem to be
making the same mistakes Corbin, Myers did.   These have to be driven carefully
just so you don't roll over.   Yet they seem to have not made it wider or move
the CG more forward  to make it viable.  This kind of 3wh vehicle if done right
is hard to beat but if not done with the right CG of 66% of the vehicle's and
drivers weight on the 2wheel axle and low, it's not good. And more narrow also
not good. It needs to be 48'' wide in front as a minimum.  It needs to lose the
chassis weight in the rear CG wise too.

Next they seem to be building it the same
way which took way too many hrs and was needlessly heavy.  For instance the
FreedomEV, a 2 seat side by side, body/chassis only weighs 235lbs and only 550
lbs done except batteries.   Or 880lbs with the assumed 215kwhrs the Sparrow
has for that 100 mile range. And the Freedom is 2x's as large with decent cargo
room yet only 18'' wider and  longer, mostly for crash protection. I actually
designed it to be the Sparrow replacement.

They need to go composite body/chassis as they
would cut their labor by 50% or more and lose 300 lbs and stronger, safer.
Otherwise the 100hr+ Corbin took will kill them again..   Once they have the
body mold though making a composite structural body/chassis is easy.  Just bolt
everything onto it and ship it.  And now is the time to change it in the early
prototype stage  as it could be a great EV with much less labor.

We need more lightweight EV's but the are
harder and different to design, it pays to get a good design first. Anyone who
has driven a Sparrow knows it needs to be better.   So far it doesn't look good
especially when much better costs less, safer and is more profitable.

                                                          KIS,
                                                                Jerry Dycus

Maybe this is Dana Myers' current project? Or he sold out to Anthony Luzi?
