Do you have any size requirement/restriction for the balancer packaging? Or mV tolerance? Or balancing/boost current needed?
Each HDM is limited to 3A, and at best +-0.2V. Lee's balancer is larger, but you have the flexibility to roll your own for part or all of it. And you can program your own tolerances, etc. I ended up having to make my own, and used the Parallax Propeller processor which did not let me down nor cramp for code space, and used a minimum of components on a hand wired board for the prototype.
