Sigh...inductive charging...too lazy to plug in so throw away 10 to 20%
efficiency.
At this point we don’t know anything about the two other Nissan EVs that
would bring the total number to five, but Bailo did say that future Nissan
electric cars will use inductive charging systems which allow the cars to
be
charged wirelessly. This technology allows the batteries to be charged if
the car is parked on a special charging mat, without requiring drivers to
plug in a cable. This was previously thought to be a differentiating
feature
for Infiniti EVs exclusively, but Bailo told AN that this system would be
used across all brands once the technology is ready.
