Hi Lee, I am new to EV's, and have a 1985 VW Cabriolet conversion with 20 US Battery US-125 xc's which are 6v 242ah golf cart batteries which I had ordered from the factory last May 2013 when I purchased the conversion. I would love to hear advice from you and the others on EVDL about how I can make these batteries last the longest and not commit "batricide" Advanced DC 9" Motor Auburn Scientific Kodiac 144v 600amp controller liquid cooled Lester Electronics model 07740 230vac input elcon dc/dc converter My 120v traction pack normally reads about 127.4 volts after a nights charging and after resting a few hours. I often make a approximate 35 mile round trip going halfway in the morning and then returning in the afternoon. When I get home I often check the traction pack voltage immediately after parking the car and the voltage usually reads 120.x volts (120.0-120.5) Do you feel I am draining the pack too far? I add distilled water to batteries 1 per month. Thanks, Scott -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
