Hi Lee,
  I am new to EV's, and have a 1985 VW Cabriolet conversion with 20 US
Battery US-125 xc's which are 6v 242ah golf cart batteries which I had
ordered from the factory last May 2013 when I purchased the conversion.  I
would love to hear advice from you and the others on EVDL about how I can
make these batteries last the longest and not commit "batricide"

Auburn Scientific Kodiac 144v 600amp controller liquid cooled
Lester Electronics model 07740 230vac input
elcon dc/dc converter

My 120v traction pack normally reads about 127.4 volts after a nights
charging and after resting a few hours.  I often make a approximate 35 mile
round trip going halfway in the morning and then returning in the
afternoon.  When I get home I often check the traction pack voltage
immediately after parking the car and the voltage usually reads 120.x volts
(120.0-120.5)

Do you feel I am draining the pack too far?

I add distilled water to batteries 1 per month.
