When people see the fire extinguisher in my car and are concerned on why I need one and if the car is dangerous. I point out the following. If a gas car catches on fire I would run like hell. With an electric car I have the option of calmly putting the fire out, thus the fire extinguisher.

From the moment of striking the metal on the road to the first sign of a problem, to the first smoke, and finally catching other stuff on fire. Any one out there in the TESLA community can add these facts to the situation ? ?
