In the ill fated Twike they used a pair of Braun hot air styling wands. Worked 
great to defrost the window and provided a fair bit of heat which was more than 
enough for a cold rainy Alemeda. They ran just fine off of DC pack voltage. 
Just dont try to use the switch, either remove and direct wire to a contactor 
or otherwise disable them in the ON position. Dach
