This is a great concept! Way to Paul! I am not all that surprised to hear that the meeting with Obama was derailed. I have had some similar outcomes (albeit at lower levels of government), and yet have found it exceedingly simple to set up meetings with both European and South American leaders. Seems that our governing "handlers" are very nervous about "letting" their charges meet with people who represent any ideas that might be considered "disruptive", while holding the doors wide open to those who embrace the status quo. Interestingly, I have found that the american public actually seems to respond in much the same way to new and unfamiliar concepts, whereas those of other countries seem eager to explore such concepts. Is it something in our diet? Or simply decades of conditioning?
Best of luck with this project Paul! -Tom True On Sat, Oct 26, 2013 at 3:12 AM, brucedp5 <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Turning Obama snub into crowdfunded documentary > > > http://www.treehugger.com/cars/ev-advocate-paul-scott-wants-make-documentary-about-his-lunch-obama-never-was.html > EV super-advocate Paul Scott wants to make a documentary about his 'Lunch > with Obama' > by Michael Graham Richard October 22, 2013 ABG > > [image > > http://media.treehugger.com/assets/images/2013/10/paul-scott-ev-advocate.jpg > Paul Scott, Youtube Screen capture > > > video > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54ei6yIJeCA > "My Lunch With Obama" Presentation > KellyROlsen· Oct 20, 2013 > Follow the campaign at http://www.gofundme.com/My-Lunch-With.... > Director and Producer Kelly Richard Olsen with Paul Scott presenting the > fundraising campaign for the documentary, "My Lunch With Obama." > ] > > A lunch that never was... > > Paul Scott eats and breathes EVs.
