I have a 2013 C-Max plug-in hybrid. With the environmentals off I can go about 25 miles in EV mode. With the heat on that drops to 15. My round-trip to work is 16--10 on the way and 6 on the way home. The C-Max has the same feature and now that it's getting colder here I'm using it. I have the car programmed to heat the interior to 72F by 7:45am. It was 38F here this morning and I drove about 7 miles with the heat off before it started getting chilly. That will let me finish the round-trip without using gas.
