/I'll opine that the scenarios about whether I would charge or not were pretty unrealistic - I would do everything I could to avoid such situations. / Ditto. In fact I've not been in one of those situations in 4 years of driving. Looked to me more like a marketing survey to determine what cost would be acceptable for charging than a "scholarly study".
