The product specs for the CALB CA series cells specificially allows
charging between 0C and 45C and discharging between -20C and 55C. I
couldn't find a spec sheet for the SE series cells but I don't imagine
it would be much different. -20C is -4F btw.

Because it gets below 0C fairly often here I put mine in heated
insulated battery boxes.
