My CALB cells are installed with the 8mm bolts and flat and spring as supplied and haven't loosened yet after more than 7000 miles driving. They were a bit short though and some needed replacing with longer socket cap screws when the thread pulled out of the aluminium poles. The copper poles seem harder.
The only problem is that the damn bolts have all pitted and rusted even though they are plated. Typical Chinese lack of quality as my company always use plated bolts and they never rust after many years in all weathers. I only hope the cells were made to a better standard. -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Keeping-LiFePO4-battery-terminals-tight-every-10k-miles-tp4667172p4667270.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
