Hello Manfred,

Just type in your search engine (I use BING) Bi Metal Washers. There are many
manufacturers and suppliers to choose from. About 20 years ago, when I was
working in the electrical field, we order these devices from a electrical
supply house.

The washer to be use, will depend on the two different alloys to be connected
together. To connect aluminum to copper, the washer may be a steel, brass,
copper or a aluminum washer which has aluminum plated on one side and copper on
the other side.

You can also get bi-metal wire terminals or buss bars that is plated with the
same alloy on both sides that can contact any other alloy without any
deteriorations. The terminals will have a AL-CU stamp on them for connecting
to either aluminum or copper devices.

Roland, thanks for that info, nice find.

Bimetal washers seem to be a bit harder to find...
  Could you post a link?
