I do not have or know of charging problems between an Eaton EVSE and the 2014 Leaf EV, but doing a web search on keywords: Eaton charger LEAF or Eaton evse LEAF
gave a site mentioning incompatibility, and found posts on mynissanleaf.com forum: http://dellin.net/leaf/ http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=12467 (EVSE incompatibility with the 2013 Leaf EV) I think it would be prudent to also manually search the mynissanleaf.com forum, as well as post your findings on that free forum. ... I do not know of a website that lists EVSE vs vehicle incompatibility issues, though that would be quite helpful to the plugin community. But incompatibility with various plugin models, and various EVSE brands, have had problems/issues. One that comes to mind is a Tesla Roadster driver trying to charge of the Santa Cruz, CA country Walgreens EVSE. It seems their was serious issues on both sides (the vehicle and the EVSE): The roadster had a 'leakage to ground' current that was high for the j1772 spec. And the EVSE brand (Semaconnect/pro) had put out into the public EVSE that had prototype boards in them (a bad thing to do). That happened quite a while ago, and as far as I know, the EVSE company resolved their 'boner' mistakes by replacing the prototype circuit boards in those EVSE with production release boards, and I have not heard of any more problems on that. {brucedp.150m.com} - On Sat, Jan 25, 2014, at 02:27 PM, [email protected] wrote: > Any idea what Eaton messed up in their EVSE that makes it incompatible > with the > 2013 LEAF?
