Bruce, I am glad to hear you are on the loose again.

Concerning the Thyroid, I don't know what the issue you are having with it, but
don't rush into surgery. I also have a lump on my thyroid and was given a
choice of having surgery, just living with it which is not too good or Taking a
thyroid hormone to keep the lump from growing and have been doing this for over
2 decades. I will be on the Armour thyroid the rest of my life, but to me that
was preferable to having surgery and I go in once a year for my annual choking
session (as I call it as the doc has to really squeeze my throat to check on
it. The choking is a joke only as he has to squeeze on the thyroid to feel the
lump.

Check with your endocrinologist to see if that may be an option to consider.
Well, I wish you well and my prayers will be with you about this. Dan Eyk

Hi Bruce,

I am glad to hear you are out and about again, doing your EV things.  If by
chance you do have to have the thyroid surgery and end up with a scar on
your throat I will buy you a couple of turtle neck shirts.  There is makeup
that will cover a lot of things and you might look good wearing an ascot.
Unless you are planning to audition for a position as a Chippendale dancer
you should not be concerned about this issue.

Gail
