Building the EMW charger is certainly not for everyone, though I built one
sometime ago and it has worked flawlessly for well over one year and 200
charges now. Not one problem during that time (I had some during the build,
but mostly self-inflicted). It charges to the max V, transitions to CV, and
stops when current reaches 0.05C every time. Very flexible and easy to
change charging parameters, as well as modify the firmware. But if you
don’t want to deal with problems during a build, or don't have some
experience in electronics, or you prefer an isolated charger, I'd recommend
you buy something like a Brusa. I used a Manzanita PFC30 prior to this and
it worked well (though I had to return it twice), but now there's no more
using an isolated screw driver to adjust the pot for max charge voltage and
then waiting to see if you got it right. Just interrupt during startup,
enter the new voltage, and start charging.
