Doing a search drawn from your keywords

A link to a Japanese company came up

I had always been curious about doing what you are considering, but had
never hear of an off-the-shelf solution to do so. Figuring out how to
accomplish your goal could lead to others following your example and
possibly a business opportunity if you are so inclined.

Other interested parties to search on that may also want L3 DC charging are
the plug-in-hybrid discussion areas. This could later lead to other uses as
eventually more road legal farm or industrial vehicles will be electrified
and could also benefit from being able to L3 charge.

With lower cost CHAdeMO EVSE now being offered

your idea could lead to implementation of other uses: electrified airport
tugs, etc., +more.

In my own small way I helped prove L3 was do'able. In the 90's my Blazer EV
had a 20+kW charging ability

I would select the charging locations that had the most power, use the EVSE
adapters (Avcon to 14-50) and many power cords cords in my back seat to get
all 6 or more chargers in parallel going at the same time. In less than an
hour, my 50+mi PbSO4 pack was 80% SOC.

The possibilities of your idea are endless, as even if automakers get their
way to not have-to make production EVs, other plugins will be able to use
the existing EVSE infrastructure.
