/"A "motorized bicycle" is also defined as a vehicle with pedals and an electric motor (not more than 1,000 watts) which cannot be driven at speeds of more than 20 mph on level ground even if assisted by human power."/
I regularly go over 20 mph on level ground on my non-electric road bike. The reg Chris quoted does not include the "if assisted..." clause. I agree with him, it's the behavior of some that is the issue, not whether the bike is electric. -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Re-EVLN-NYPD-busting-seizing-escooters-ebicycles-tp4676717p4676719.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
