You needn't, but I will. ;-) In fact I hear that the PSA Peugeot-Citroën EVs from the 1990s were pretty decent vehicles. Friends of mine owned ICEV Renaults and Simcas in the 1970s and 1980s. They certainly had their share of mechanical problems, but I don't recall them ever grousing about electrical issues. Maybe they were especially lucky, but I don't associate France with crummy electronics, automotive or otherwise.
