Meet the Wheezy. The Wheezy is an electric auxiliary wheel that connects to a normal bike turning it into an e-bike. Monitored via a smartphone app the Wheezy pushes bikers forward. Wheezy connects to a bicycle using a fast connector with 2 axis joint. This allows the Wheezy to move right or left, top and bottom. It gives the electric power wheel room to maneuver curves, hill ups and jump downhill and at the same time connect securely to the bicycle’s frame. The wheel center of Wheezy compared to the rear wheel of the bicycle is low, allowing Wheezy to increase friction with the road, while increasing power. The Wheezy starts at 259 Pounds, which is about $400. This gives customers a 250W engine with 28km range. The top model offers 350W and 700W max with a 46km range. The promotional price is 478 Pounds ($750). Below is a preview of the Wheezy Kickstarter video showing the Wheezy in action. There are e-Bike conversion kits out there. The Wheezy is certainly easy to install, but it adds a third wheel. Is the Wheezy something consumers have been waiting for?
