IN the 1970s, some US automakers had their limited-sales small cars built in Japan. In the 1980s and 1990s, they switched to Korean manufacturing. So I guess this was inevitable. Odd though that they're using that source for a luxury car. That's new. Will it mean a lower price and thus more EV sales? It's a Cadillac, so don't hold your breath. I suspect this is about increased profit per car, not customer benefit.
