Yes, this is the case. The EVSE designed for use with the Honda EVPlus would only allow one charge cycle per connection. When the Leaf charging timer is on, the Leaf will do a test cycle when it is plugged in. This counts as the single charge cycle. The Leaf charging timer can't be used with these EVSE.
