Assuming you're traveling in a Model S what I would recommend is to open 
plugshare and deselect all charger options other than "Tesla (S) EV plugs."
You'll see a list that's pretty much Tesla service/retail spots and hotels. It 
seems a lot of smaller lodges and bed and breakfast spots have Tesla plugs. 
Hopefully there's some in the area you are traveling through.
