Because Tesla put the charge port in the left rear quarter panel and the supercharger card is too short to reach if they don’t back in car enough which the bike rack wouldn’t allow. I'm glad my Kia Soul EV has it in the front. This would be a non issue if tesla had put the charge port in the front like Nissan and Kia does.
