I got a phone call from my local Chevrolet dealer (Fremont Chevrolet in Fremont, CA) yesterday. Production of the Bolt EV started a couple weeks ago. They have 100 on order that will be arriving in two to three weeks. You can sign up for the one you want with a $1000 deposit and pick it up as soon as it comes in.
