I decided to give a call to that LA dealership to find about this deal. The operator answered, but just as it said on yelp (see the post below for the yelp review), that dealership's sales rep Cynthia, is the only sales rep handling the 500e EV sales.
The operator said Cynthia was handling another customer, so I agreed to have her call me back. But even on a Sunday, that dealership was swamped/very-busy. So, I did not expect Cynthia to call me back. But she quickly did. and after some back and forth, the bottom line is: all the $49/me 3yr lease 500e EVs allocated for that deal are leased out (all-gone). She did say that if anyone is still interested in a newer 500e (but not at the low lease price), at their regular price (see their web page listed on the post URL below), they can go in and see her if they are with in traveling distance of the Los Angeles area. I explained to her, that I had gotten the word out, and some of those people would be outside the LA area might have been interested in the deal. Cynthia (1-714-227-8001) said even though that older 500e deal is exhausted, anyone can go on-line and submit the paperwork to get one of their newer EVs. Once she has the purchaser's credit rating and a manager's approval, papers can be sent out for signing, and later once all that is done, the purchaser can come into the dealership to get the EV. But all that (above) Cynthia mentioned, won't be at that special low price (now at their regular prices, and good for Cynthia's sales commissions). I suggest people just go to their own local Fiat dealer and see what deal they can get.
