On the Leaf-type battery packs that came from Better Place vehicles, there are two, thin, corrugated metal sheets nestled between the three rows of cells, to allow airflow. If anyone has disassembled a Better Place pack and has no need for those metal air channel pieces and would like to sell them, please contact me off list.
