Kordsa provided composite materials support to the Kocaeli University Türk
Mekatronik Team, winner of the Design Category at the TÜBİTAK Efficiency
Challenge Electric Vehicle competition in August.

Carbon fibre fabric produced by Kordsa was used in the interior, inner and
outer door, chassis, suspension and instrument panel of the second vehicle
developed and produced by the Türk Mekatronik Team.

The electric vehicle, designed in accordance with the requirements of the
competition, is 3.5 m long, 1,7 m wide and 1 m high. The team, which
previously produced a 430 kg single-motor electric vehicle, succeeded in
reducing the weight of the new dual-motor vehicle by 45% to 240 kg.
