That might be accurate, but to me it seems like a convoluted way to state the power required. The miles and the hours cancel out, making it 13.75 kW. My own admittedly limited experience is that a ~2500lb conversion EV can maintain 55mph with an average power of around 10kW. I know of some fairly efficient conversions closer to 2000lb that can sustain 45mph at around 6.5kW.
