As i understand the way Tesla Superchargers work, they identify the
individual vehicle, so they verify how fast charging is allowed for that
vehicle and if charging needs to be paid or is free.
So, there is literally zero chance that a Leaf with this converter plugged
in will be provided with DC power for its charging, unless someone
deliberately installed all the necessary Tesla computers in his Leaf.
If he is so dedicated, then he can also figure out how the plug can connect
DC to his battery instead of to his AC charger. I have never tried, but i
would not be surprised if the Leaf AC charger can accept DC, btw. I have a
burned but still working charger in my garage (long story, i helped someone
to fix his car), so i could try this.
