I don't know, was just guessing at the possible motivation the gas tax
repeal group might have. The oil companies seem to be getting everything
they want, would not be displeased to have EVs made less appealing to
the public by taxing them.
I did not look at the site Lawrence posted. I should have written my
comment with a "?" as:
Add a big tax to the electricity used for charging EVs?
