The new one almost certainly had only the test firmware on it - that's how they came new. You have to use the Azure tools to flash the proper firmware onto it. Yes, this is not going to be pleasant. Unfortunately, while I know how to flash DMOCs, I don't believe that I've got DMOC445 firmware to flash onto your board. It might be possible to flash DMOC645 firmware onto your DMOC445 but I don't know what that would do.
