fyi- many media outlets pay less (subscription) for old-news items (which is why I manually sieve the newswires multiple times a day to get the latest for you). IMHO the design news item took an old blurb, and rehashed it (paid) with a positive Toyota spin wording that TMC 'has seen the EV light'= nothing could be further from the truth. I saw a news item where TMC is jv/working with a Thailand company to profit from EV components being used for Thailand electrified vehicles, but the blurb was worded (again paid) to read as TMC is 'now in the EV biz'. BS, unreal, misinformation for TMC's benefit. Each day, I come across media outlets that publish 'TMC embraces EVs'. For media outlets this junk sells ad-space, and is nothing more than reader wishful thinking. TMC is about profit (lie,cheat,steal,etc.), no more or less than GM, FMC, or all the others.
