Is it possible to charge an EV direct from the sun? Yes, but it's not "buy it at Wallmart and plug it in" simple. Yet.

Well, you COULD buy everything at walmart(.com), but yes, you would have to do some wiring yourself to get all the items to plug into each other. (I would not recommend these specific items, or buying solar gear at walmart, as you can do a lot better in price and quality elsewhere...but as an example...)
