% On the surface, the above ad has some pluses: 25 foot cord, and comes with

Does not feed the nozzle
April 23, 2019 Color: HOLDERVerified Purchase
The Connector Nozzle does not fits well on SAE 1772 AeroVironment EV
Charging nozzle. It is a bigger size not well designed.

If you need to use the 120v attachment, don’t buy this one.
July 12, 2019 Color: CHARGERVerified Purchase
I needed this cord to plug into my outside outlet, and I currently only have
120v plugs while I wait for an electrician to come install the 240v plug.
The attachment on this does not fit all the way on the plug, so it’s useless
to me. For nearly $200, I don’t think it’s worth it to have this cord I
can’t use. Will return and would not purchase again.

It broke a pin off on my car's charging port! $1,500 repair!
May 30, 2019 Color: CHARGERVerified Purchase
Basically, the connector was made so tight that one morning one of the pins
on my car's charing port came off and snapped and stayed stuck into the
charger. That repair is anywhere from $700 to $3000, depending on your SUV.
I got this charger as a handy-back up charger and I would've been better off
getting something nicer since it ended up costing me so dearly in the end.
It looks like that charger handle/head is replicated in a lot of other
products. Be wary.

Good replacement charger
March 18, 2019 Color: CHARGERVerified Purchase
Product failed after about 5 months, but the seller ultimately stood behind
it and gave me a replacement. At the time, I could find no information on
their warranty and was frustrated enough to write a bad review. They
responded quickly to that, replaced the unit, and have since upgraded their
website with clear and prominent info on warranty returns. The have
convinced me that they are customer focused.
The product does seem solid; why the first one failed I cannot say. It
charges faster than the OEM charger from Ford, even at 120V. So far, the
replacement is working fine.

% I disagree with Willie. Not all portable EVSE of this size and price are
both l2-3kW & l1 (100-240VAC).

100 Ft Extension Cord 16 Gauge 10 Amp 125V Outdoor

% If I bought an pickup truck or van EV (to be able to carry around my
future VA-assigned mobility e-cart), it would likely come with a small
portable emergency-use l1 EVSE. I would remove that and only carry around in
the EV one of the above dual voltage L2-3kW & L1 EVSE.
I would opt for the long 25 foot length cord.
I would also carry a small duffel/gym bag (see link above) to place the 100
ft extension cord in the bottom, and 1' long adapter cables above that. That
way no matter what receptacle was available, I could pull power from it.
That small 16 gauge 100' extension cord (above) is really only for l1
charging. A 12 gauge or better extension cord should be used for pulling
higher l2 currents.
A nifty trick I saw a Volt-pih driver do, was to tuck the excess cable
length into their trunk and lock/secure it away from vandals or copper
thieves.

Bottom line: Do your homework before plunking your money down, read the
descriptions thoroughly, read the reviews, etc. %
