Not related to a VW install, but I went to a ‘dual’ CCS/Chademo location one
time, and as no one was using it I plugged in (and paid...) to top off some of
the battery. While there, another user plugged in to the CCS side. I finished
my lunch, and the other driver was standing near her car. She said that at
that particular pylon, the first one on had to finish before the second one
would start up. She had some problems there in the past when people would
unplug/end her charge so the other side would start.

I’ve also seen some that divide the available power between the two sides - so
if a second car plugged in, the ‘50 amp’ EVSE was suddenly only putting out 25
amps. Still faster than L2 (due to higher voltage) but not by much.
