None of the Prius models with nimh batteries monitor every cell. The battery is built up from 6-cell modules; either 38 for 2001-2003, and 28 for the later years. The BMS in all of these only monitors the voltage of pairs of modules (12 cells each).

But it sounds like you have a plug-in Prius? They have lithium cells. I'm sure they monitor every cell; but I don't know how they do it, or if that data is reported externally.
