Yea, the Tesla didn’t have those features when purchased. They were removed

Let's just say that the situation is murky. I have a friend that did not want to spend the the money of FSD or the package of lower level features so he did not. He bought his 3 new about a year ago without FSD. His invoice so indicates. BUT his car DOES have FSD. That is, he received FSD without paying for it. It has been common for Tesla to provide FSD to those cars without for a short time to create more demand. People who have not experienced the driver assist features do not appreciate the value.

I have two Tesla’s and the are the beat cars I have ever owned and Tesla has
promptly dealt with every issue I have had. Great standup company.

Completely agree. Those who think otherwise have likely not educated themselves. David, in this case.

I've watched the drivers assist features develop and improve over the past couple of years. Without going into excruciating detail, I will say the improvements have been vast. All along, I have demonstrated to any with an interest the capabilities and short comings. My friend with the not paid FSD above has consistently taken the position "if it doesn't work perfectly, I don't want to use it". He has been unswayed by the fact that a Tesla using drivers assist has HALF the likelihood of being involved in an accident as a Tesla not using the features. So, the education may take a while.
