I own two Leafs. 2013 is the one the dealer is saying the 12 v battery is weak. I haven't noticed a problem so I am not even concerned enough to measure the voltage as dealers seem to point out non problems as a profit path. Just being proactive. Seems the battery choice of OEMs is not optimal. We don't need cranking power but storage life. Lawrence Rhodes
Other thoughts: Why is Lawrence replacing his 12V aux battery? If I remember correctly, he traded in his old gen Leaf for a newer (2017?) 30kWh Leaf. That would only make his 12V aux batt 3 years old, which should last from 4 to 6 years. If Lawrence is having 12V battery issues, it may not be the battery (perhaps the dc-to-dc charging circuit, etc.). If so, no matter what 12V battery (chemistry), he'll still have problems. ?So, why do you want to replace your 12V battery, Lawrence? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
