Perhaps that is good.
However, to make a strong statement to the average ICE owner, a
different comparison might be more effective. I question how many people
really care how much heat is generated and wasted. Given that the ICE is
not very efficient when running at low RPMs and, further, that the
automatic clutch is adding some resistance, the fuel economy is terrible
when stopped and running AC. If you, or someone, can come up with some
numbers showing just how bad that is, I think more people would listen.
