Hi Folks I’d love a small EV truck but currently made of Unobtanium and realistically go 1/2 range when hauling or boat towing, a problematic variable. The $33k ($6.8k back from Fed) Ford Escape Plug In 37 mile EV range before gas kicks (1.5k lbs tow rating) in seems like a good choice to pull my 1480lb ski boat or a 5x8 trailer for Home Improvement building materials. The $38k ($7.5k back from Fed) RAV4 39 mile PHEV (2.5k lbs tow rating) looks good too. Looking at several Forums on options, this seems like a good green pickup replacement. Even pulling a 5x8 trailer (Max loaded 500lb) behind a Prius Prime or my Chevy Bolt Would work but not for the Heavier boat since towing is not recommended for most cars. Not sure why the Prius Prime in Europe is rated for 1600 lbs but 0 lbs in US, maybe pounds are heavier here) When I lived in CO, I hitched up my 5x8 trailer behind my VW beetle and then a Jeep. Not as convienient as a truck but worked well. Have a renewable energy day Mark
